This was worse. Pure light, searing every corner of his very being, pushing into places it didn’t belong. Pushing into a space already too filled with galaxies and the never ending flow of time.

He’d thought he’d be safe, playing this game of angels and demons. But they were not bound by rules of bloodlines and grace, not with him.

He’d always thought that angels were supposed to be holy…this felt like Hell.

Doctor: [The Colt trembles in his hand, then stills] You’re not him.

[He shoots. The Leviathan crumples to the floor, the Doctor as well.]
